Travel Tools: FlightAware

I think the key to an enjoyable travel experience is being informed. People tend to have their worst experiences when a flight is unexpectedly delayed or cancelled and they have no idea what to do next. This lack of information is the exact reason I started writing my "Travel Tools" posts. My goal with these posts is to provide you with some tools that keep you informed and help streamline your travel experience.

I'm currently in the middle of planning my next international trip for later this fall. I've been waiting on a few sign up bonuses to post to my American Airlines AAdvantage account, but after that I should have everything I need to book my trip. I’m just missing one minor detail…Where should I go?!

My Weird Obsession With Hotel Slippers

My Weird Obsession With Hotel Slippers

Whenever I'm on the road I always travel light. So light, that I can usually fit all of my things into a single backpack. The only downside to this packing technique is it doesn't leave me with much room to bring anything home. Everything seemed to be going according to plan until I got this email from Frontier around 1:00 p.m...

Adam and I's first full day in Toronto was centered around going to the Bluejays vs. Nationals baseball game. The game wasn't scheduled to start until 3:00 pm so we had time to visit the top of the CN Tower and do some exploring prior to first pitch. The tickets to the CN Tower were relatively cheap and the views of the sprawling Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario were really cool.

Review: Shangri-La Toronto

A couple of weeks before my brother and I left for Toronto, I made a last minute change and booked us a room at the Shangri-La. I really had no intentions of staying at such a nice hotel, but thanks to American Express' Fine Hotels & Resorts program I was able to afford it.
