April showers bring May flowers, or in this case even tornadoes! I'm typing up this recap amidst a beautiful April thunder shower turned tornado warning. I can hear the sirens going off in the distance, but luckily I'm nestled safely on my basement couch.
In case you missed anything, my girlfriend and I went to Indio, California for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. We had a fantastic trip and enjoyed listening to some of the best bands on the planet. If you'd like to take a look at my photos, visit my Coachella 2016 photo album. The only downside to the trip was coming home with a terrible sinus infection. I think it was due to a combination of the desert dust and my horrible spring allergies. It's been over a week since we returned and my nose is finally starting to work again.
All of my credit card activity this month has been on my Starwood Preferred Guest Card from American Express. I'm still working on meeting the minimum spend requirements for the increased sign up bonus they offered earlier this year. American Express actually sponsored Coachella so I ended up getting a $10.00 statement credit for using my card there all weekend, thanks for the beer Amex!
