How I Booked The Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi

In a few short weeks I'll be jetting off to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Not only are Elizabeth and I flying in some in the world's nicest airplanes, we're also staying in some of the world's nicest hotels.

We'll be spending a total of three nights in Abu Dhabi so we decided to book the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi. We used Elizabeth's sign-up bonus from her Hyatt Credit Card to book two free nights and then paid $378 USD for the third night. The two free night certificates brought our average nightly rate down to $126 USD. Not too shabby for a five star hotel.

Last year I used my Hyatt Credit Card sign-up bonus to book two nights at the Park Hyatt Sydney, which is arguably one of the nicest hotels in the world. Unfortunately, Hyatt changed their sign-up bonus on their credit card to only 40,000 points so it's not quite as lucrative as it used to be.

The Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is actually the largest Park Hyatt in the world with a total of 306 rooms. It's located on Saadiyat Island just a few miles from downtown Abu Dhabi. The resort has it's own private beach on the Persian Gulf as well as a handful of pools and hot tubs.

All-In-All

I'm pretty excited for my second stay at a Park Hyatt. I always feel like a high roller when I'm able to book a hotel of this caliber for only $126 a night. Elizabeth and I plan on spending a decent amount of time at the hotel so we can enjoy the resort and the beach. Keep an eye out for my full review of this hotel in November.

What are your thoughts on the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi? Was it a good choice?
