First and foremost, I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter! Whether you spent it traveling, at home, or visiting loved ones, I hope you were able to enjoy the holiday. My Easter was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, I ate way too much food (as usual), and got to spend the whole day with the people I care about most.
As for the rest of March, it's been a pretty slow month here at Passenger Poldberg. This was my first (and hopefully last) travel-less month of the year. I spent the majority of my days on the 8-5 grindstone just trying to rack up enough paid time off (PTO) for my next adventure! I can honestly say I felt a little travel anxiety (if that's even a real thing?).
However, outside of my busy work schedule I still managed to write a few posts. I finished my Paris 2016 trip report and uploaded all of my photos. I made note of Starwood's biggest sign up bonus ever on its co-branded American Express Card. That offer is still good through the end of the month, so it's not too late sign up. I also wrote about the value of the Southwest Airlines Premier Rapid Rewards Card for those of us flying out of Omaha. Last but not least, I gave my thoughts on the recent terrorists attacks in Brussels.
I'll be back in the air the third weekend in April to go to the Coachella music festival in Indio, California. This will be my first trip to California and I'm beyond excited! People tend to have mixed reviews of Los Angeles and the areas surrounding Southern California, so I'll be interested to see what my perception is.
Aside from reporting back on the Coahella music festival, I will also be doing a write up on my loyalty decision (or lack there of) between American Airlines and Delta. It's currently a toss-up between the two, but as I continue to investigate hopefully I'll be able to name a clear cut winner!
As always, thank you for reading and following along.
