New York City for Labor Day Weekend

I'm finally visiting New York City for the first time over Labor Day weekend. I've actually had this trip booked for a few months but couldn't say anything because I wanted to surprise Elizabeth for her birthday. Unfortunately, I let the secret slip just hours before her birthday party!

Elizabeth was still excited despite me ruining the surprise. The second part of the surprise, which I didn't ruin, were tickets to Electric Zoo music festival on Saturday September 2nd. We'll be joining some friends of mine there for great music and even better vibes. I'm jacked to see ZEDD, Tritonal and Illenium.

Other than Saturday, the rest of the weekend is open for New York City explorations. I really want to hit some big tourist attractions like Time Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, Central Park and the 9/11 Memorial. We're obviously big time foodies, so I'm sure we'll eat our way around the entire city too.

As far as accommodations go, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going to stay yet. I'm waiting on a couple of things before I pull the trigger on a hotel or Air BnB. My main goal is to keep things under $300 a night and within walking distance of the subway.

All-In-All

I'm really excited to visit the Big Apple for the first time. It's crazy to think it has taken me 25 years to finally visit New York City, but you know what they say, but better late than never!

What's your favorite part of New York City? I'd love to hear your reccomendations!
